PA-460E Vertical Curtain Passive Infrared Sensor

The PA-460E is a specialized passive infrared sensor designed for vertical curtain detection, making it ideal for securing narrow, elongated areas such as the sides of buildings, fences, or long corridors. This model offers an impressive detection range of up to 55 feet (16.5 meters) with a focused coverage pattern facilitated by 6 pairs of sensitive zones. This sensor operates on a supply voltage of 10 to 18V DC and is characterized by its low current consumption of only 25mA, enhancing its efficiency and suitability for extended operational periods without imposing high energy demands. The PA-460E includes critical features such as an alarm output with dry contact relay (normally open/normally closed selectable) which provides flexibility in connecting to various alarm systems. The reset time for this contact is approximately 2 seconds, and it can handle a load of up to 24V, 0.25A with a protective resistance of 3.3Ω.
