PS-520E Passive Infrared Sensor

The PS-520E(W) from TAKEX is tailored for settings that require precise and stable motion detection at the threshold of doorways. This passive infrared sensor detects temperature differences between a human body and the floor, utilizing dual pyroelectric elements for increased stability against external light sources. Its special circuitry is also highly immune to RFI and other electrical noises, making it a reliable option for sensitive environments.

This sensor offers adjustable relay timer settings ranging from 0.25 to 60 seconds and an adjustable coverage area that can be set to cover straight downward or at angles of up to 35° in front of the door. It features two relay outputs for flexibility in application, both normally open and normally closed, which can drive up to 1 amp of current, suitable for controlling door strikes and magnetic locks. Designed for both single and double door coverage, the PS-520E can be mounted overhead or on the wall, ensuring a versatile fit for various installation needs.
